How many copies do I need?
If you are a small business, for example a high street shop or office such as an Estate Agent or Shoe Shop, one copy of the Self Fire Risk Assessment should suffice.
If you rent floor space in an office block, one copy should suffice.
One copy per floor would probably better suit a large company on multiple floors.
If you share part of premises with someone else, you will need one copy each.
If you run a Department Store or very large building with multi-disciplines, one copy per section or concession would be advisable.
If you run a Hotel we would recommend one copy for each departmental manager.
A small Restaurant would need one copy (although larger premises might require two copies (one for front of house, one for kitchen and stores).
